Recent days out... Part 2

遅くなりましたがPart1の続き。

ロンドンマラソンを観にテムズ川沿いまで行ったのですが、応援をするのを楽しみにしていた私ですが、

もちろん走っている人なんて興味のない娘。一人あっち行ったりこっち行ったりチョロチョロ。

しかも帰りは疲れたのか号泣し、地べたに座り動かない作戦。。

結局旦那がだっこをして帰るはめに。。。

This was ages ago now but we went to watch the London Marathon. We really like this event and were really looking forward to cheering the runners, of course she wasn't interested at all in the running. Also she got really tired by the end and cried all the way home.

この日は歩いてTate Ｇａｌｌｅｒｒｙへ。St James Parkを通ってビッグベンを横目に歩くこと１時間。

ギャラリー内は人も少なく結構楽しめました。もちろん一人を抜かしては。。

We walked to Tate gallery, going through St. James park and then down the Victoria Embankment. The gallery was nice and quiet we had a great time actually, mostly chasing her around while she was shouting and singing and trying to climb on things.

この日はＩＧでお友達になったいくこさんの展示会へ行ってきました。とても素敵で私好み！！
花瓶をかいたいなぁ～と考えております。

There was a group show for ceramicists in RCA where one of our friends was exhibiting.
She makes really beautiful, detailed artworks and amazing home-wares as well.

　自分の傘をもってめずらしく機嫌よく歩いております。

It's pretty rare that she walks on her own without being carried!

She was pretty happy with her umbrella though. 

ちょっと前の朝ごはん。相変わらず旦那はこうやって顔を作ってテーブルに持って来てくれます。

右上は食パンマンらしいです。

定期的に義父の忙しいお仕事の合間を縫ってランチを一緒にします。

今回はハンバーガー。ここはキッズメニューもあるし、お絵かきもできるからよく行きます。

 as he works around the corner from our house.

The kids menu at Byron is pretty good and they have nice colouring in pictures for kids.

めぐみさんの車でロンドンの郊外のArundelと言う街までプチ一日旅に行ってきました。行きに娘が車酔いしてしまい吐いてしまうというハプニングはありましたが大きなお城もありかわいい街でした。でも寒かったな～。。

We took a trip out of London to Arundel, my daughter puked all over me on the way, which was lovely!

There is a huge castle there and it's really pretty little town. This day was freezing cold though!

これは決してデジャブではありません。またまたこのピンクの車に乗ってテンションマックス！！

This isn't de ja vu she got onto the same pink car that she rode before. She was so happy driving around.

旦那の実家へ。日曜日の朝だけお天気が良くてガーデンで遊べました！

This is my husband's parent's garden, where she has a sandpit and some other outdoor toys. She always enjoys it out here, where she can play outside safely in the fresh air!

Recent days out... Part1

またまたご無沙汰しております。
今７カ月目です！
赤ちゃんが動きまくってて最近眠れない。。

はい。知らない皆さん、ご報告が遅れているみなさん、ただいま二人目妊娠中です。（報告遅っ！）
８月中旬予定でまたまた女の子です。娘に妹が出来ます。

It's been a while (again) since i blogged anything but anyways my seventh month started already.
So I'm pregnant again for anyone who didn't know! My next daughter is due in August making my first daughter a big sister.

え？なんか食べてるように見える。。すでに食いしん坊？？（笑）

男の子だったら未知の世界でまた楽しかったんだろうけど、娘にメロメロな旦那は次も女の子希望だったので大喜び！

オモチャも服もあるから楽だしね。

私が一人っ子だから姉妹ってどんなかんじなんだろうなぁ～なんて変な感じ。

仲が良くてなんでもシェアできる姉妹になってほしいなぁ！

It looks like she is eating something. Is she already shaping up to be another big eater? 
It would have been a new world if it had been a boy but my husband really wanted another girl so he was really happy. We already have loads of stuff for a little girl at least!
I am an only child so i feel a bit strange that my daughter will have a sister.
Hopefully they will be close and share with each other.

３月の終わりはイースターウィークエンドで、４日連休だったので旦那の実家へ。
なぜかバニーや卵型のチョコレートをあげ合います。ってこれは旦那の実家だけなのかな？？
Odds Farmに行って赤ちゃんの動物に触れ合うはずが、怖かったのか旦那から離れず。。

It  was Easter weekend in march so we went to my husband's family's house for four days over the holiday weekend.
I don't know why but people give egg and bunny shape chocolates to each other.
We went to Odd's farm to see the baby animals but my daughter was scared and wouldn't stop clinging to my husband.

一回乗ったカートが忘れられず、どこでもこういうのを見ると乗りたくなってしまう娘。
楽しんでます。

She tried this once and now every time we see one of these things she demands a go!

この写真なんのこっちゃですが、だいぶ前に行ったチャイニーズレストランで頼んだジャスミンティー
に茶柱が立ってたー！！しかも２本！！って見づらいね。。それだけです。

A while ago we went for Dim Sum on a boring rainy afternoon and i got this tea stalk standing on it's end, which is supposed to be good luck!

帽子も手袋も嫌いな娘。でもマフラーだけはしてくれます。

She doesn't like hats and gloves but she likes scarves!

早いのか遅いのかはわかりませんが、そろそろポティートレーニングをしようかと。
そう、オムツを取る練習。
実はだいぶ前から娘の気が向いた時だけ「おしっこー」と言ってトイレに行き、ちゃんと事を済ませます。一日に２回ほど。でもやっぱり毎回とはいかず。。
ということで、義母がいろいろ用意してくれた中にこのかわいいパンツたちが！！
かわいいーーー！！そして私の好きなネオンカラー万歳！！　しかもＨ＆Ｍのだから安い！この他にもキティーちゃんパックも買って来てくれました。こういうの嫌いじゃない。ってかどっちかっていうと好き。
娘もこれ穿いてテンション上げてトレーニングに励んでもらいたいです。

I don't know if it's too early or a bit late but we are starting potty training.
For a while actually she uses the toilet when she wants to but not all the time.
My mother in law got these cute neon pants for her and also some Hello Kitty ones, she seems to like them and putting them on over the nappy!

バタークリームを作り、アイシングナイフを使って（絞り出しではありません）丁寧にデコレーションを施します。

そしてそのカップケーキを紅茶と共にいただきます。また、お一人さまにつきカップケーキを４個お持ち帰りして頂きます。

February Outings

もう先々週になりますが、（はは　笑。だいぶ前。。）
久しぶりに長ーい散歩！最初はタワーブリッジまで行くはずが、テートモダンに寄り、
ボローマーケットでつまみ食いなどをしてしまった私たちは疲れてしまいロンドンブリッジでＵターン。
途中移動遊園地で初めて車に乗った娘は大喜び！！終始笑顔でハンドルを動かしてました。
私たちはというとその娘を見て大笑い！払った￡２分以上笑わせてもらい私たちも大満足。
唯一女の子だった娘が一番楽しんでたかも(笑）

It's been two weeks since these photos were taken.
We went for a long walk!
First we wanted to walk all the way to Tower Bridge but after going to Tate Modern and Borough Market we ran out of steam and did a u-turn at London Bridge and went home!
On the way there is a little fun fair and she really wanted to go on this car ride.
It looked a bit dodgy but she enjoyed it so much, laughing all the way round and steering the car. 
We were laughing so much too so 2 pound well spent!

この写真はいつだったっけか？なんて忘れるぐらい前だけど、この日も家族でお散歩。
この日はリージェントパークを通ってプリムローズヒルへ。
娘は公園で散々遊びその後はお決まりの丘へ。
ここからの景色がとっても好きです。

Don't really remember when this was but we walked through Regent's park to Primrose Hill.
There is a nice playpark and, if you can be bothered to make the climb up the hill, one of the best views in London.
Really weird weather on this day, crazy showers and clear blue sky.

先週の水曜日は大好きなおじいちゃんと旦那の弟、その友達とお昼。
ここはキッズフレンドリーなのでキッズメニューもあり、クレヨンとぬりえももらえます。
いつものことながら結局そのぬりえを楽しむのは娘より旦那。


Last wednesday we went for lunch with granddad, my husband's brother and some other friends.
It's pretty child friendly here with colouring in for kids, although my husband is normally hogging the crayons for himself.

先週末はマイヤの３歳のお誕生日会。娘は黙々と掃除機のおもちゃやレジのおもちゃでお遊び。
私たちはというとこのパーティーに来ていた子どもたちに囲まれオモチャにされてました(笑）
旦那はいつも子どもたちに人気。たぶん同じレベルだと思われてる。。

この週末はギリシャからマリアも遊びに来ていたけど、しゃべり過ぎて写真を撮るのをすっかり忘れてしまった。。
７月にまた来ると言う事なのでその時は写真撮ろうっと。

Last weekend was Maiya's third birthday party. She came to our wedding when she was six weeks old so it was crazy to see her turn three!
Our daughter enjoyed playing with all her toys; a toy cash register, hoover and house cleaning set, while my husband and i ended up being surrounded by a group of children all afternoon.
My husband seems to be quite popular with kids, probably they sense he has similar interests and his humor is on the same level!

今週の月曜日はたかくんとジョージくんと一緒に初めてサッカークラスに行ってきました。
サッカーと言ってもただのボール遊び。でもそのクラスの２人の先生が結構面白くて子どもたちも楽しそう。うちの娘はというと何が何だかわかっていないのにも関わらず積極的に参加。
途中みんな座っていなきゃいけない場面でも一人出て行き勝手にボールを蹴るなんてことも。
結構楽しんでいたのでまた行こうかなぁ～
その後はみっくん親子とだいちくん親子も一緒に近くのイタリアンへ。
今日は一人女の子、しかも一番下。
午後はみっくん親子とだいちくん親子が住んでいる学生寮についているキッズルームでたっぷり遊ばせてもらいました！
結局最後は帰りたくなくてただ一人駄々をこねる娘。
みんなは女の子はみんなこうなのかな～って、いやいやうちの娘だけです。。


写真を見返すとやたらとOh My Kidsのトレーナー着まくってるな(笑）

On Monday we went to a football class for small children.
The coaches were really funny and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Our daughter didn't really know what was going on but joined in anyway. She got pretty excited and kept kicking the ball and running around while everyone else was sat still listening.
She really enjoyed so i think we'll go again.

先週末にこの方々とMuseum of Childhoodへ。

こーちゃん、いちろうくん、みりちゃんの３歳組に交じって一人２歳児がんばっております！

元気いっぱいの子どもたち、ママ達は追いかけ回すのでいっぱいいっぱいでゆっくりみんなでお話もできず。。

まぁいつものことだけど(笑）

久しぶりに小さい赤ちゃん(みりちゃんの弟りくくん）を抱っこしたら軽いのなんの！！(うちのが重いだけだけど。。）

１枚目：写真を撮るよ―と言ったらみんなは止まってくれたのにうちのだけあっち行ったりこっち行ったり。。

もちろんうちの子だけブレております。。

２枚目：こーちゃんと追いかけっこしたりレゴしたり！沢山遊んで楽しそうだったなぁ～

３枚目：相変わらずかっこいいいちろうくん。２人で動く電車に興奮！

January in brief

わー！！２０１３年もいつの間にか２月。。になってしまいました。。
持続力のない私。反省です。。
これを機にまた頻繁に更新出来ればなと。

今回は１月にあった出来事をダダダーっと載せちゃいます。

Oh no!! It's already February!
Sorry I've been so tardy with the blog posts, the month slipped away from me somehow.
Quite a few things happened in January so I'm going to do one mega update for the whole month.

サイエンスミュージアムに行ってきました。
初めて行った旦那はただただ感動しておりました。
娘はというと、地下にある子どもたちが遊べるスペースではしゃぎまくり！
それでも遊び足りなかったのか、帰りは少しぐずりっ子。。
ハイドパークを通って寒い中歩いて帰りました！(遠かった～。。）

We went to the Science Museum last weekend. 
It was the first time my husband had been and he was super impressed!
There is a play area in the basement for young kids, with soft play area and water activities, which our daughter loved and didn't want to leave.
We walked home through Hyde Park which was really nice to finish off the day.

こーちゃん、３歳のお誕生日パーティー！！！こーちゃんおめでとう！(こーちゃんがちゃんと写ってる写真が無い～。。）
こちらでは室内のプレイパークで１時間ほど遊んで、その後２階にある部屋に移動して
プライベートでお祝いするというコースが人気。
食事も用意してくれるので自分の好きなケーキなどを用意すればＯＫ！
ちなみにこーちゃんのバースデーケーキは大きなティンカーベルが乗っている凄ケーキ！！
ビデオは撮ったのに写真を撮るの忘れちゃいました。。
娘はもちろん着いた途端遊びまくり、しっかり出されたランチ、スナック、すべてを食べ大満足なご様子でした。
私はというと、めぐみさんが用意したパーティーバッグに入っていた日本のお菓子にテンション上がって、帰りの電車で食べちゃいました！！

Kotone's third birthday party.
Happy Birthday Kotone!
It's pretty popular this soft play party program, where the kids have an hour to play then some food upstairs, so all you have to do is bring your own cake.
The cake was a Tinkerbell cake, it looked amazing.
I took some videos but forgot to get a photo of it!
Our daughter as soon as she got there charged off to play and ate the food. She seemed to enjoy it a lot.
I was so excited by the party bags that Megumi prepared, full of Japanese sweets that i love but can never get over here!
I ate them on the way home...

この日のロンドンは真っ白。雪を見たことはあっても、実際遊んだことがなかった娘。
最初はどうしていいかわからない様子の娘もはしゃいでいる旦那を見て雪だるまを作ったり、雪合戦をしたりして楽しんでいました。
たまには雪もいいのかも！

It was all white, even in central London, after the snow.
She has seen the snow before but was a bit too young to play in it before, she didn't really know what to do but saw her dad getting pretty excited about it, playing snowballs and stuff and soon got the idea.
She has a real problem with gloves though and her hands were sooo cold!

いとこのかなちゃんとそのお友達のえりちゃんが３泊４日でロンドンに。
３日目に私は旦那と娘を置いて３人でＨａｙward GalleryにLight Showを観に行きました。
これが結構おもしろかった！
世界中のいろいろなアーティストがさまざまな方法でライトを使って表現するアートは体験もでき興味深いものばかり！
また行きたいなぁ～。

My cousin and her friend came to stay with us for a few days.
We left my husband and daughter at home and went to an exhibition called Light Show at Hayward Gallery. 
The show was really good, loads of different artists created lighting effects in different ways, i really want to go back!

そして、ジュエリー作家の二人。たくさんのジュエリーをプレゼントしてくれました。
どれもかわいい～！ステキすぎる～！！

They are jewelry designers and they gave me these beautiful little items that they made themselves. Really pretty and unusual. I love them!
